Obituary of Francis AKA Frank A. Carrano

Carrano, Frank of North Bellmore on Oct 16. Beloved Husband of Lillian. Loving Father of Cono, Peter and Jennifer Hill. Cherished Grandfather of Andrew, Lauren and Matthew. Frank is survived by his wife Lillian, who was diagnosed this past June with a very aggressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). GBM is the most common, complex, treatment resistant, and deadliest type of brain cancer, accounting for 45% of all brain cancers, with nearly 11,000 men, women, and children diagnosed each year.
