Obituary of George J. McKnight

George J. McKnight, of Huntington Station, on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Hospice Inn of Melville, NY. Mr. McKnight was born in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Corneilius and the late Ann (Finn) McKnight. He served in the US Navy on the USS Fremont APA-44.He was employed by Metropolitan Life, NY NY as a(n) Insurance Agent. He is survived by his wife: Rosemarie, His children; Michael, Mary Adams (Keith), Kathleen Brown (Brian), Tim (Late Nancy) and Eileen McKnight (Pete Krausch). His Ten Grandchildren, One Great Grandson and his two step children Tracy Lesse and Bryan Kuller. He is Predeceased by his Wife, Marge McKnight. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 6 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and Tuesday, February 7 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at A.L. Jacobsen FH, 1380 New York Ave., Huntington Station, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday 9:30am at St. Hugh Of Lincoln, 21 East Ninth Street, Huntington Station, NY. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers Donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital .
