Obituary of Herbert Eugene Gilcher Sr.

Herbert Eugene Gilcher Sr., age 88, on Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie G. Adams. He served in the Coast Guard as a motor mechanic from 1947 to 1950. Formerly employed by Min-Max Machine Inc., as inventory control and retired from Grumman, Bethpage, as a radiology engineer. Talented carpenter who loved to fish. He is survived by three daughters: Marjorie A. Gilcher (Frederick Richards), Sue Mundy (Peter), Kristina Pearsall (Robert), and, and one son: Herbert Gilcher Jr., 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 1st from 2-6:30pm at C.S.
