Obituary of Mary Riordan

It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Mary Kathryn Zanotti Riordan, devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Sister-in-Law, and Aunt. She meant and continues to mean different things to different people, for some she was the epitome of grace and elegance, others a sarcastic wit quick to laugh, and still others the voice of reason and calm. Her legacy is in all of these things, and they are felt and cherished by her family and friends. She leaves behind her devoted husband and dedicated champion of nearly 55 years, Patrick Donald, her eldest daughter and steadfast companion and caregiver Colleen, her only and loving son Patrick, and her youngest and adoring daughter Amy. She was a kind and generous Mother-in-Law to Holly Riordan and Jason Minch, doting and wonderful Grandmother to Kyle, Benjamin, Timothy and Grace Riordan along with Ava and Charles Minch. She was the fiery and beloved eldest Sister to Victor and William Zanotti, and Sister-in-Law to Cecelia. She was also a vibrant and caring Sister-in-Law to the Riordan brood of boys and their treasured wives, and the delightfully glamorous Aunt to many nieces and nephews on both sides. Her life had great meaning, it was grande, it was full, it was wonderful and she shared it beautifully with those around her. She will never leave our thoughts, and she will forever shape our hearts.
