Anthony Zaragoza, age 91, of Wantagh, on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Gloria. Loving father of Joann Nix (David), Linda Naeem, Steven (Dolores) and Marc (Evelyn). Cherished grandfather of Anthony, Stacey, Carissa Slaninka, Danielle Zaragoza, Angela Nix and the late Christopher Zaragoza. Caring great-grandfather of Michael & Julianna Slaninka. Avid fishing, boating and bowling enthusiast and proud World War II Navy Veteran. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 15 from 4-8pm at Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 So. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 am on Monday, October 16, 2017 at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore, NY. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
