Caring daughter of the late Ramon and Junita (Sola) Alvarez. 

Beloved wife of Alfredo Rivera. Married for 65 years.

Loving mother of Luis (Rebecca) Rivera, Carlos (Mindy) Rivera, Ana (Adam) Zyto, Betsie (Raymond) Rivera, and Arleen (the late Vinny) Selvaggi.

Cherished sister of Ophelia Ranieri, Sonia Aronson, Luis (Irma) Alvarez, Alfredo (Awilda) Alvarez, and the late Raul Alvarez.

Devoted grandmother to 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 on the way!

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, March 19 from 2-4 & 7-9:00pm at Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 So. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 am on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore, NY. Private cremation to follow.
