Obituary of Hank Rosenberg

Due to the current New York State restrictions in place, the funeral home has a limited capacity of 50% for visitors. Please be aware that if the family has reached visitor capacity, family & friends who wish to visit may be requested to wait until the chapel has space to accommodate more visitors. Masks are required at all times. Henry “Hank” Rosenberg, born on July 8th 1954 in Brooklyn New York. Beloved son of Sam (Marilyn), and the late Cynthia. Loving brother of Steven (Alison) and Jeff (Lori). Cherished father of Danielle (Chris) and Meredith. Caring step-grandfather of Josh and uncle to many nieces and nephew. Dear long-time partner of Elora. Hank was a man of many hobbies, interests, and talent. Some of those include nature, horses, reading, weapons, cooking, training his pet dogs, and spending time with his family. He would always say that the mind is a terrible thing to waste and would spend much of his time reading and watching the history channel. Most of his books were on topics like philosophy, existential existence, World War II, firearms, different cultures (or learning to speak Japanese), and nature. He was an avid weapons collector, marksman, and instructor. Hank raised his daughters to always speak their truth, to take no shit, always carry a weapon, and that whatever you do in life, let it be true, honest, and from the heart. He lived his life always true to his own path and without compromise, even to a fault. His absence is a void that can never be filled, and he will be missed terribly. Smell you later, Papa Goose 10-4.
