Obituary of Joyce T. Fauci

Joyce T. Fauci of Valley Stream, N.Y. on June 6, 2023 Joyce was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 14, 1930. Music loved Joyce. She was a church organist and choir director with the Diocese of Brooklyn and various churches on Long Island. Joyce graciously volunteered her time at the Northwell Health Orzac Center for Rehabilitation at LIJ Valley Stream for almost 25 years. She loved cats, lasagna and a good cannoli, playing tennis, golf, volleyball, fishing, bowling, and watching sports, especially baseball. Go Yankees! But most of all, she loved her family and watching us succeed brought her the most happiness. Joyce was preceded in death by her devoted husband Joseph, and survived by her loving sons, Joseph and (Laverne), Robert, Paul and (Jennifer) and her grandchildren, Jason and (Angel), Marissa and (Pete) Hurst, Kenith (deceased) and (Renae) Casica, John, Janine and (Josh) Zoblisien, Nicole and Nicholas. Her great grandchildren, Kristen, Shilyn, Logan, Jonathan, Summer, Xander, Levi and great great grandchildren, Brandon and Angelina. We can't thank the entire staff at Orzac for the care Mom received these past months. Rest in peace, may you be playing your music forever! In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Joyce's honor, where she gave her service for many years: to The Northwell Health Foundation in support of Long Island Jewish Valley Stream.
