Obituary of Lorraine Mary Peck

Lorraine Peck passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 22nd at the age 68. Lori was born on December 11, 1954 to Lorraine and Eugene Fenton in Amityville, Long Island. After graduating from Holy Trinity High School in 1973 she went on to nursing school at Saint Clare’s. As a nurse she worked in New York City before working at the FBI in Washington DC and at Georgetown, where she met her husband Stephen. They wed in 1984 and have two children, Kristen Smith (Dan) and Ken. Lori is predeceased by her father Eugene, mother Lorraine, sister Patricia Reilly (Tom), and brother James (Kate). She is survived by Richard (Patricia) and many nieces and nephews. She is remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor, her epic hostess skills at those fabulous parties on George Road, her love of travel, cooking, and being surrounded by her loved ones. We like to imagine her hosting another great party with her golden retrievers and little buddy Jack, laughing with Pat, Jimmy, Gene, Lorraine and many friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorraine's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
