Robert was born February 11, 1955 and entered eternal rest on November 22, 2023 in Rockville Center, NY. Beloved son of Adelaide M. and the late James J. Gilmartin. Loving brother of Christine (Thomas) Cavanaugh, Dorothy (Dominic) Acquino, James (Ann) Gilmartin, the late Michael Gilmartin, and the late Eileen (David Lavallee) Gilmartin. Cherished uncle of 12 nieces and nephews, and 8 great nieces and nephews. Caring God father of many God children. A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate his life will be held 10:00 am on Friday, December 1, 2023 at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore, NY. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery/Resurrection, Farmingdale.
