Obituary of Linda Gowen-Wood

Linda was born September 24, 1953, and entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Wood. Loving mother of daughter Tara and son Michael (Elizabeth) Gowen. Caring step mother of Scott, Jennifer, Caroline and Hannah. Devoted grandmother of Devin, Lily, The Late Ian, Emily, Michael, Maeve, Anja, Marley, Ava, Olivia, Gavin and Kelsey. Dear sister of Mary, Elaine, Kevin, Vincent, Kathleen and John. Cherished aunt to many wonderful nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Friday, January 5 from 2-4p & 7-9pm at Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 So. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY. A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate her life will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore, NY. Donations may be made in Linda's honor to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Long Island.
