Obituary of Augustine Richard Santos, Jr.

Santos, Augustine R., Jr. (Augie), of North Bellmore, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Augie's fun-loving personality along with his caring and loving nature touched all who knew him. Born in The Bronx, NY on February 5, 1934, Augie grew up in Astoria, Queens and then moved with his family and has resided in North Bellmore, NY for 62 years. Augie was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Korean War. He went on to have a successful career in the automotive industry in both service and sales for over 50 years. Predeceased by his parents, Agostinho (Al) and Angelina Santos (Florio) and his brother, Joseph Santos; he is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ronny (Veronica); their children, Richard (Catherine) Santos, Regina Santos, Christine Santos and Edward Santos; grandchildren, Charlotte, George and James Slocum and Daniel and Rachel Santos; sister Marie Victoria (Vicki) Vincent, and many other beloved family members and dear friends.
