Obituary of Louis J. Marandola

Louis J. Marandola, beloved husband, brother, and uncle, passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 65. Lou was born on February 6, 1958 at Flushing Hospital in Queens, NY. Lou was preceded in death by his parents, Angela M. (DeVito) and Louis J. Marandola Sr.. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was the beloved husband of 35 years to Patricia Deyorra and Dog Dad to Tony. He was also the cherished brother of Bob (Dian), Carolyn (Mark), and Marie (Jim) and dearest Uncle to Angela, Eric, James, Nicholas, Lizzie, and Louie. Lou enjoyed summers in Montauk, gardening, trains, and quality time with friends; playing softball and horseshoes. What he loved most was everyone being together and sharing a meal. He was a proud driver for 40 years for 282 International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Teri, as all his friends, were family to him, that's how generous his heart was. His presence will forever be remembered and cherished by those who knew and loved him. His dedication and kindness for others has left a lasting mark on their hearts. May he rest in peace and continue to watch over us. Mass service will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at St. Barnabas Church. 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore NY 11710.
