Obituary of Edwin F. Bies

BIES - Edwin F. Bies, entered into eternal life on November 2, 2015 at the age of 86 at Brandywine Senior Living, Melville NY. Born in East Hampton, MA, he lived in Bellmore, NY for many years and more recently Melville, NY at Brandywine Senior Living. Edwin worked as an operating engineer for Local 138 Union of Operating Engineers in Long Island, NY. Edwin was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Bies (2008), devoted father of the late Carol Bies Wenk (2013) of Huntington Bay, NY and Robert Bies and his wife Michelle of Wilton, CT. His granddaughters Taylor and Madison also survive him. Private family visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 10:45 AM at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, Bellmore NY. Interment will be at St. Charles cemetery in Farmingdale, NY. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Edwin's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements entrusted to the C.S.
