Obituary of Massimino R. Minieri

The world became a brighter place when Massimino Ralph Minieri was born 92 years ago in Brooklyn. NY. He was known to all as Muss. He served in the U.S.Army before becoming a silk screen printer. He later ran his own business making Christmas lights and moved his family to Cambria Heights, NY. In 1973, Muss and his family moved to North Bellmore, NY where he resided for the past 43 years. Massimino showed his family unconditional love. Laughs became louder and smiles became brighter when he was around. Everyone who crosses paths with Muss was impacted by his sincerity, care, kindness, and humor. Whenever someone faced a problem or was in need, he was the first person to help without hesitation. Due to his outgoing personality, Muss became loved by so many including friends of family members, neighbors, doctors, nurses, aides, and even people he met at the grocery store who were previously strangers. Massimino is predeceased by his wife Eleanor whom he loved admirably as well as his brothers Felice and Ralph and his sister Anna Crocco. Muss is survived by his son Anthony Minieri and daughter-in-law Loretta, his daughter Carmela Gizzi and son-in-law Robert, his grandchildren Anthony, James, Crysta, Nicholas and his fiance' Nicole, his sister-in-laws Theresa and Catherine Minieri as well as nieces and nephews all whom he loved dearly. Viewing will be held Monday February 8, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9:30pm. On Tuesday February 9th a funeral mass will be held at 9:45am at St. Barnabas RC Church in Bellmore, NY. followed by the burial at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY
