Obituary of John J. Scalia

John J. Scalia, age 91, of Bellmore, on Friday, December 23, 2016 He served in the Marine Corps from 12/31/1943 to 05/03/1946. He is survived by his wife: Angelina, two daughters: Linda Suppa and Theresa Staehr, and one son: Jim Scalia. His six grandchildren, Angela Suppa, Anthony Suppa, Maria Sabia, Christiana Suppa, Joanna Suppa, Gina Scalia and Anna Scalia, and his Great Grand Daughter Valentina Ann Sabia. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to St. Jude's and Cohen Children's Hospitals. Click on the links to donate. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 am on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore. Entombment will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale on Tuesday, December 27 at 11:15 am.
