Obituary of Caolan Michael Joy

Due to the current New York State restrictions in place, the funeral home has a limited capacity of 50% for visitors. Please be aware that if the family has reached visitor capacity, family & friends who wish to visit may be requested to wait until the chapel has space to accommodate more visitors. Masks are required at all times. Caolan Joy, age 22, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021. He was born on April 18, 1998 in Manhasset, New York to John Joy and Rosina O’Donoghue-Joy. He is survived by his brother Liam, grandparents Joseph & Linda Joy and Esther O’Donoghue & the late Michael. Caolan was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his cousin Michael McGovern and his aunt Lydia. Caolan had a love of skateboarding, snowboarding, juggling, hiking, camping, the outdoors and reading. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Caolan's memory to HCBS or to Hope for Youth. The Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas Church will be live streamed on Thursday, March 25th at 10am.
