Obituary of Anastasiya Senyshyn

Anastasiya Senyshyn, of Lviv, Ukraine and later Bellmore, Long Island, died on February 1, 2022, at the late age of 88. Anastasiya was born in Biliavzi, a rural stretch of West Ukraine, and later lived in the city of Lviv; she studied at the Lviv Academy of Printing and worked as an economist her entire life. She was a staunch Ukrainian patriot who never forgot her roots or traditions, and made sure her family carried them on too. Anastasiya loved reading, knitting, cooking, and warm summer days in her garden. Her wit, humor, and endless warmth never dimmed. She always smiled and dressed her Sunday best. Anastasiya was predeceased by her husband Nestor of 33 years. She is survived by her loving daughters, Oksana Zukoff and Miroslava Kozak; adoring grandchildren, Aleksandra Zukoff, Christina Kozak, Severyn Kozak; great-granddaughter Adriana Keusseyan; sons-in-law Gregory Zukoff and Andriy Kozak; and niece, Halyna Semen.¬¬
